Construction Started!
The Beginning
Started building the Charades Ideas site today.
The idea for the site came when I was playing Pop5 Cranium with some friends (great game for the record!). We finished a game and decided to play some charades instead so we didn’t use all of the cards that came with the game right away. The problem we immediately ran into was that there was no good way to generate all the words and phrases to use in the game. We ended up with just having everyone write some things down on paper and putting them in a hat, but since we had a fairly small group, you very often got yours, which wasn’t a whole lot of fun since you already knew the answer.
We took a quick look around the web and could not find a single place that had ideas for charades. Thought that this was a bit ridiculous considering you can find just about anything else. So here we are.
My Initial Plans
I’m hoping to build the site so that it is very easy to use and incredibly intuitive. I want someone who comes to the site to immediately be able to utilize it and understand how it works. Also, using a community to update and tag the words/phrases/ideas is key, and I think that will be the hardest to get moving.

I’ve got a full time job, so this site will only receive updates when I’ve got time to devote, until then, let me know what you think, and please, keep the suggestions coming!!
